Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Quick Price handles information when you use the application.

ORIVIOS TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("Orivios", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Quick Price mobile application ("Quick Price" or the "App").

Quick Price is primarily designed for dedicated Android tablets and mini-kiosk devices used in retail environments for checking product prices and related product information.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Quick Price does not require users to create an account or provide personal information.

Quick Price does not intentionally collect or maintain personal information such as:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Postal address
• Precise location
• Contacts
• Photos or videos
• Payment information
• Account credentials
• User profiles

Quick Price does not contain advertising or advertising SDKs for user profiling or targeted advertising.

2. Information Handled by the Application

Although Quick Price does not require or intentionally collect personal information, the application handles limited information necessary to provide its core functionality.

Application Configuration

Users or authorized client personnel may configure settings such as:

• Server IP address or hostname
• Server port
• HTTP or HTTPS protocol
• Currency or rate symbol
• Decimal digit settings
• Locale settings
• Custom rate prefix
• MRP display preference

These settings are stored locally on the device so that Quick Price can operate using the configured client environment.

Barcode Information

When a user scans or manually enters a barcode, Quick Price uses the barcode value to perform a product lookup.

The barcode may be transmitted to the client-configured server to retrieve the corresponding product information.

Product Information

The client-configured server may return product information such as:

• Product name
• Quantity
• Unit of measurement (UOM)
• Stock information
• Selling Price 1 (SP1)
• Maximum Retail Price (MRP)
• Other product information provided by the client's system

This information is displayed by Quick Price to fulfill the user's request to check a product's price and related information.

3. Purpose of Processing

Quick Price does not use this information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or targeted marketing.

4. Client-Configured Servers

Quick Price connects to a server configured for the client's environment.

The server address, port, and communication protocol are provided by the organization using Quick Price.

Product lookup requests may therefore be transmitted directly between the application and the configured client server.

The client organization operating the configured server may have its own privacy policies, data-retention practices, server logs, and security controls. Information handled by such a server is subject to the policies and practices of the organization operating that server.

Orivios does not use product lookup information for advertising or user profiling.

5. Network Communication

Quick Price requires Internet access to communicate with the configured client server.

The application supports HTTP and HTTPS configurations depending on the client's server environment.

Where HTTPS is available, it is recommended for protecting information transmitted between the application and server.

If a client configures an HTTP server, network communication may not be encrypted in transit. Organizations should use HTTPS whenever possible, particularly when the application communicates over public or untrusted networks.

6. Local Storage

Quick Price may store application configuration locally on the device, including:

• Server connection settings
• Currency and price-display settings
• MRP display preference

These settings are required to preserve the user's configured application environment.

Quick Price does not use these settings to create user profiles or for advertising purposes.

7. Data Sharing

Orivios does not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

When a barcode lookup is performed, the barcode and associated request may be sent to the client-configured server as necessary to provide product information.

Product information returned by the client server is used by Quick Price to display the requested product details.

The client organization may independently process or retain information on its server according to its own policies and applicable laws.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Quick Price does not maintain user accounts or user profiles.

Application configuration stored locally on the device can generally be removed by clearing the application's data or uninstalling the application.

Orivios does not maintain a personal user profile created through Quick Price.

Information retained by a client-controlled server is managed according to the retention policies and practices of the organization operating that server.

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to minimize the information handled by Quick Price and to protect information processed through the application.

Quick Price is designed without user accounts and does not require personal information to perform product price lookups.

Where supported by the client's environment, HTTPS is recommended to protect network communication.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Organizations operating client servers are responsible for implementing appropriate security controls for their server environments.

10. Children's Privacy

Quick Price is a general-purpose product price-checking application and is not specifically directed toward children under 13 or the applicable age of digital consent in the relevant jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child through a service under our control, we will take reasonable steps to address and delete such information where required by applicable law.

11. User Rights and Privacy Requests

To the extent that any personal information is processed by Orivios, users may contact us at hr@orivios.com to ask questions or request access, correction, or deletion of applicable personal information, subject to applicable law.

Where information is maintained by a client-controlled server, requests relating to that information may need to be directed to the organization operating that server.

12. Third-Party Services

Quick Price does not intentionally include advertising or analytics services that collect personal information for advertising or user profiling.

If third-party services are introduced in a future version and they affect the information handled by the application, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Quick Price functionality, our practices, or applicable legal and platform requirements change.

When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date and, where appropriate, the policy version.

The latest version will be made available at the published Privacy Policy URL.
